Making a Difference: video chronicles what it takes to be an MGHer

MGHers have many reasons why they come to work at the hospital — the opportunities, the challenges, the tradition of excellence, the camaraderie and teamwork, and most of all, the ability to make a difference in the lives of patients, visitors and other employees.

The many reasons why the MGH attracts employees from all over the world and from all walks of life are illustrated in a 14-minute video called "Making a Difference," which is being used as a hospital recruitment tool. 021601video.jpg (216989 bytes)The video highlights the many facets of working at a large teaching hospital in Boston, and includes interviews with current employees who describe how they make a difference at the MGH.

The video was produced by the MGH Human Resources (HR) and Customer Service departments. It recently was shown to employees and visitors outside the Eat Street Café entrance and in the Main Corridor. To get a copy of the video, MGHers can contact their HR representative or call Mary Cunningham at 724-1004.
