Help wanted: judges for Timilty Science Fair

The MGH/Timilty Partnership seeks MGHers to judge student projects during the annual Science Fair week, Feb. 14 to 18, at the James P. Timilty Middle School in Roxbury.

Volunteers are needed to judge projects Feb. 14 to 17, 9 to 11 am, beginning with the eighth grade on Monday and finishing with the sixth grade on Thursday. MGHers can volunteer to judge on one or more days. Round-trip transportation to the Timilty Middle School will be provided, departing from the MGH at 8:30 am and returning at 11:30 am.

Students, who for the past four months have been developing projects with assistance from their MGH mentors, will showcase their work at the hospital during the eighth annual Science Connection Fair Feb. 11, 9:30 to 11:30 am, in the Main Corridor. In addition, eight Timilty students will present their projects at the poster session for the MGH's 24th Research Symposium Feb 2.

To volunteer to be a judge at this year's Science Fair, contact the MGH/Timilty Partnership at 4-3210, by e-mail at timilty@partners.org or visit the Partnership website at http://timilty.boston.k12.ma.us/mgh.
