The MGH Blood Donor Center is asking all eligible MGHers to donate blood. The hospital's blood supply is low, and all types of blood are needed. Walk-ins are welcome at the Blood Donor Center, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Donors who come in Jan. 23, 26 or 30, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, will receive a free chair massage. As a thank you, all donors will receive a blood donor t-shirt. To make an appointment, call (617) 726-8177.
MGH employees working at CNY also are encouraged to donate by participating in the next blood drive Jan. 21, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The MGH Bloodmobile will be located between Building 149 and the parking garage at CNY. All donors will receive a blood donor t-shirt.
