CRP seminar
The Clinical Research Program (CRP) and the Human Research Committee will sponsor "Clinical Researchers Beware: Privacy Rule is Closer Than You Think" Jan. 15, from 4 to 5 pm at CNY Conference Room 114 and Jan. 29, from 8 to 9 am in the Wellman Conference Room. An overview of the privacy regulations with specific attention to the impact on research will be presented. The lecture fulfills the required training for HIPAA and qualifies for AMA category 1 and risk management credits. Registration is required to receive credit. CNY blood drive
MGH employees working at CNY are invited to participate in a blood drive Jan. 22, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The MGH Bloodmobile will be located at CNY Building 149. For more information or to make an appointment to donate, call Susan Murphy at (617) 724-6518 or send e-mail to smurphy4@partners.org.

United Way hockey benefit
In support of the United Way campaign, the MGH will sponsor a celebrity hockey game with MGH employees and friends playing against members of the Bruins Alumni organization, "Black and Gold Legends," Feb. 7 at New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass. A limited number of tickets is available at the Warren Library, from 1 to 3 pm, beginning Jan. 10. Tickets in advance are $15, or $20 at the door. For more information, call (617) 724-0361.

Winter 2003 schedule for computer training
Partners Information Systems Training has introduced the winter computer workshop training schedule for Microsoft Office applications. Partners Physicians Day
All MGH physicians are invited to participate in the fourth annual Partners Physicians Day Feb. 8, from 8 am to 5 pm. Registration forms recently were mailed to all Partners physicians. Nursing career expo
MGH Patient Care Services will hold a Nursing Career Expo Jan. 16, from 1 to 7 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. Nurse managers, nurse educators and Human Resources staff will be on hand to discuss various career opportunities for staff nurses at the MGH. The Center for Clinical and Professional Development also will present a continuing education session for participants in the O'Keeffe Auditorium, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
