Walk
helps ALS research
Ellen's
Walk for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) research at the MGH, named
in honor of MGH ALS patient Ellen Kaatz, took place Nov. 10 in New Hampshire
and raised $42,000 to support the MGH ALS Clinical Trials Unit. Shown
at right, 13-year-old Emily Lavigne, who raised more than $1,700 for Ellen's
Walk, presents a check to Merit Cudkowicz, MD, MSc, director of the MGH
Neurology Clinical Trials Unit. |
