Special Consideration: |
- Serum potassium levels should be known prior to administration and monitored periodically during therapy - May increase insulin requirements in diabetic patients - May potentiate the activity of antihypertensives, neuromuscular blocking agents, digoxin - OTO / renal toxicity may be enhanced with co- administration of aminoglycosides |
