Special Considerations: |
Multiple infusions of desmopressin have been associated with a reduced response of uremic bleeding times. This suggests that maximal responses are achieved short-term. Additional doses may be minimally effective and may even increase the bleeding time. - Serum and urinary electrolyte levels should be known prior to therapy and monitored during desmopressin administration |
