GYNECOLOGIC AND OBSTETRIC PATHOLOGY FOR THE PRACTICING PATHOLOGIST
This four-day postgraduate course is under the direction of Robert H. Young, MD and David C. Wilbur, MD, with additional faculty of Dr. Debra Bell (Mayo Clinic), Esther Oliva, MD, and Drucilla Roberts, MD, the latter two speakers of the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. The course will be a comprehensive coverage of female reproductive tract pathology, including comprehensive coverage of frequent problems in differential diagnosis and an update on newly described entities and new issues in terminology. UROLOGIC SURGICAL PATHOLOGY FOR THE PRACTICING PATHOLOGIST
This four-day postgraduate course is under the direction of Robert H. Young, MD and has as additional faculty Drs. Mahul Amin, John Eble, Peter Humphrey, and David C. Wilbur. The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive review of urologic surgical pathology with special attention paid to common diagnostic problems such as prostate biopsy interpretation, recent advances and new entities. Instruction will be primarily by lecture, but will also include frequent discussion periods. Each participant will receive a comprehensive course syllabus. The course is being held at a renowned resort hotel a few minutes from the center of the sophisticated town of Naples with numerous outstanding restaurants and elegant shops. GASTROINTESTINAL, LIVER, AND PANCREATIC PATHOLOGY
The Brigham and Women's and the Massachusetts General Hospitals are co-sponsoring this course under the direction of Robert D. Odze, M.D. and Gregory Y. Lauwers, M.D. This course provides a comprehensive review of the current concepts in diagnostic surgical pathology of the gastro-intestinal tract, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. The role of pathologists in the diagnosis and reporting of endoscopically obtained biopsies and resection specimens is emphasized. A CD-ROM, including lectures and photographs of the entities presented during the course, is available on request. This educational activity enables attendees 28.25 hours of CME.
