How you can help

The Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Translational Pain Research was established in 2006. The center is devoted to improving the clinical management of patients experiencing acute, chronic and cancer pain conditions. It uses a multidisciplinary and mechanism-based research approach to clinical pain management, together with basic science pain research – one of only a few centers in the nation that combine these twos areas.

Pain is a universal problem that economically and socially impacts the individual, the family and in turn, the community. Chronic pain patients often suffer from multiple-related problems that adversely impact their quality of life and their ability to fully participate in society. Your help will enable the Center for Translational Pain Research at MGH to pioneer new therapies in the treatment of intractable pain conditions.
