Background

Samantha graduated with a BA in Psychology from the American University in December 2007. After reading “Inhibition of nociceptors by TRPV1-mediated entry of impermeant sodium channel blockers” (Binshtok et al., 2007) during her final semester of study, Samantha developed a passion for nociception research. She came to the NPRG in March 2009 to develop this interest further, and hopes to one day apply the skills she is acquiring as an NPRG research technician towards a PhD in Neuroscience.
