The Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care
at Massachusetts General Hospital
Project Description
Construction is now under way on a much needed, state-of-the-art
ambulatory care building that will help increase access to outpatient
care and services at the Massachusetts General Hospital. This facility
will be named the Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care in recognition
of the generous $25 million commitment from the Yawkey Foundation.
- The Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care will consist of 10 floors
plus a mechanical penthouse and will include approximately 320,000
net square feet of space.
- The facility will be located over the Northeast Proton Therapy
Center, south of Fruit Street, and will run adjacent to the Fruit
Street Parking Garage toward Cambridge Street.
- Underneath this building will be a six-level, 725-space, below-grade
parking garage.
