Senior HealthWISE events
MGH Senior HealthWISE will offer the following free events for seniors age 60 years or older: a "Spring into Fitness" exercise session June 12, from 11 am to noon at the Clubs at Charles River Park with lunch served from noon to 1 pm; a book club discussion of "Suffer the Little Children" June 12, from 3 to 4 pm at the West End Library; and hypertension screenings June 16, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the West End Library. Interfaith pride service
The MGH Chaplaincy and the MGH Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Committee will host an interfaith pride service June 13, from 2 to 3 pm in the MGH Chapel on Ellison 1. All are invited to attend. For more information, e-mail lgbtmgh@partners.org.

Wellman Center Lecture Series
The Wellman Center Lecture Series, presented by the MGH Wellman Center for Photomedicine, will host the following: "Understanding the Impact of Scaffold Topography and Indirect Mechanical Stimulus on Chondrocyte Cellular Activity" June 10, with guest speaker Anuradha Subramanian, PhD, of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska; and "Colors of Cancer: The Role of Spectral Analysis in Cancer Management" June 12, with guest speaker Sung Chang, PhD, of the Wellman Center. Both lectures will be held from 2:15 to 3:15 pm in the Thier Conference Room with coffee receptions beginning at 2 pm. For more information, contact Nicole DeVoe at ndevoe@partners.org.

InfoBytes computer courses
Partners Information Systems Training is offering the following InfoBytes computer training courses in Microsoft Office 2003: "Excel 2003: Pivot Table Primer" June 18, from 8:30 to 10 am; and "Word 2003: Formatting Documents" June 18, from 10:30 am to noon. Both classes will be held at 165 Charles River Plaza, Suite 200. An optional half-hour of training will be available at the end of each class for related exercises and one-on-one consultation. Father's Day service
In honor of Father's Day, MGH Men Against Abuse will host a service June 11, from 12:15 to 1 pm in the MGH Chapel. The service will include readings, music and the opportunity for participants to sign a commitment to never tolerate domestic violence. Julie Fund 5K Walk to benefit MGH Cancer Center
The Julie Fund for Women's Cancers will host its third annual 5K Walk June 14 beginning at 9 am at Artesani Park in Brighton, Mass.
