Ringling Brothers clowns bring smiles to MGHfC patients

clownsPediatric patients at the MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) enjoyed some special entertainment Sept. 23 when two clowns from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus stopped by the Ellison 17 playroom for an afternoon visit. The clowns were taking a break from preparing for the "Bellobration" show, which will be featured at the TD Banknorth Garden Oct. 8 through 13. The children were amazed by the professionals who juggled bowling pins and hoops and performed balancing tricks. Patients and their siblings had an opportunity to clown around by wearing red rubber noses and clown hair that the pair brought for the children.
