Senior HealthWISE lecture series
The MGH Senior HealthWISE lecture series will offer "Art and Healing" Sept. 25, from 11 am to noon in the Haber Conference Room. Stephanie Sordillo, expressive arts therapist for the MGH HOPES Program and program manager for Illuminations, will be the guest speaker. The event is free for seniors age 60 years or older. Memorial service for Allan Moore, MD
A memorial service for Allan Moore, MD, of the MGH Endocrine Division and MGH Internal Medicine, will be held Oct. 7 in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. A reception in the East Garden Room will follow. Moore died July 24 at age 31 from injuries he sustained in a July 12 scooter accident. Donations may be sent to the Dr. Allan F. Former MGH patient on Oprah
Monica Sprague Jorge, former patient of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Ellison 7 and a dedicated mother and wife, persevered through a devastating illness of necrotizing fasciitis and touched many caregivers' lives in the process. Tune in to hear her inspiring story of recovery on "Oprah" this Oct. 24 at 4 pm on WCVB-Channel 5.

George B. Murray Limbic Lectureship
As part of the George B. Murray Limbic Lectureship, the MGH Department of Psychiatry will host "Alterations in the Limbic Dopaminergic System During HIV Infection and AIDS Related Neuropsychiatric Disorders" Oct. 9, from 4 to 5:30 pm in the Haber Conference Room. Tuition reimbursement requests go online
Employees now can initiate the tuition assistance process from their desktop using PeopleSoft, a new process that also will allow employees to track the status of their requests at any time. To request tuition assistance, log into PeopleSoft by visiting Employees without computer access can use computers in the Employee Access Center, Bulfinch 107. Conference on genetic basis of adult medicine
