Young patients at the MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) had the unique opportunity March 11 to see and touch the Boston Red Sox 2007 World Series trophy. A Red Sox security officer brought the championship award to the Ellison 18 playroom, where children could view it up close and have their photographs taken with it. The trophy also made its way to several MGHfC patient rooms. Organized by John and Debbie Ford — whose son J.T. is a MGHfC patient — the World Series trophy visit to the hospital impressed dozens of pediatric patients, their families and staff.
