Purim celebration

Conversations with Caregivers eldercare series

Call for nominations for Pamela J. Ellis Award
Nominations now are being accepted for the Pamela J. Ellis Memorial Secretarial Award, which was established in 1997 in memory of Pamela J. Ellis, an MGH executive secretary who served at the MGH from 1992 to 1996. All secretaries, executive secretaries, administrative assistants, front desk receptionists and operations associates are eligible. Nomination forms are available online at or at the following Human Resources offices: Bulfinch 107, Employee Access Center; White 14; 75 Blossom Court; CNY 149, seventh floor; and the Chelsea, Charlestown, Revere and Back Bay HealthCare Centers. Info-Bytes computer courses
Partners Information Systems Training is offering Info-Bytes classes, which are one-hour Microsoft 2003 training courses taught at an accelerated pace. Upcoming classes are "Excel 2003: Pivot Table Primer" March 25, from 8:30 to 10 am and "Excel 2003: Managing Your Data" March 25, from 10:30 am to noon. Both courses will be held at 165 Charles River Plaza, Suite 200. An optional half-hour training will be available for related exercises and one-on-one instruction. Senior HealthWISE events
MGH Senior HealthWISE will offer the following events for seniors: the first session of a four-part memoir writing workshop March 19, from 1:30 to 3 pm at 165 Cambridge St., fifth floor, with an instructor from the Grub Street writing center; the lecture "Eat for Life" March 20, from 11 am to noon in the Haber Conference Room with guest speaker Mary Ann Hardenbergh of Action for Boston Community Development; and hypertension screenings March 24, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the West End Library.
