MGHers joined in the fight against cardiovascular disease — the number one cause of death for women in the United States — by participating in the American Heart Association's annual "Go Red for Women" campaign during the first week of February. Activities included a Go Red Night at the Boston Bruins, a heart healthy cooking demonstration, special lectures on women's cardiovascular health and Go Red Day, during which hundreds of employees wore red clothing to demonstrate their support for the campaign.
