What's Happening

InfoBytes computer training courses
On Sept. 22 Partners Information Systems Training will offer the following InfoBytes training courses in Microsoft 2003: "Word: Mail Merge," from 10:30 am to noon; "Excel: Pivot Tables," from 1 to 2:30 pm; "PowerPoint: Interactive Presentations," from 3 to 4:30 pm; and "Outlook: Tips and Tricks to Improve Efficiency," from 5 to 6:30 pm. All classes will be held at 165 Cambridge St., second floor. An optional half-hour of training will be available at the end of each class for related exercises and one-on-one consultation. Senior HealthWISE events
MGH Senior HealthWISE will host the following free events for seniors age 60 years or older: a "Plunge into Fitness" exercise class Aug. 21, from 11 am to noon at the Clubs at Charles River Park, with lunch served from noon to 1 pm; a book club discussion of "An Inconvenient Truth" Aug. 21, from 3 to 4 pm at the West End Library; and hypertension screenings and blood pressure checks Aug. 25, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the West End Library.
