What's Happening

Senior HealthWISE events
MGH Senior HealthWISE will offer the following events: hypertension screenings March 10, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the Hill House, 127 Mt. Vernon St.; a screening of the film "La Vie En Rose" March 12, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in the Haber Conference Room; and a one-hour exercise session, "Get Warm, Stay Fit," from 11 am to noon at the Clubs at Charles River Park with lunch served from noon to 1 pm. Holy Week service schedule
The MGH Chaplaincy will host the following services in the MGH Chapel during Holy Week: Roman Catholic Mass will be held March 15 and 16 at 4 pm both days, and palms will be delivered to inpatient units during the morning. An ecumenical prayer service will be held March 17, 18 and 19 at 12:15 pm, and Roman Catholic Mass will take place at 4 pm. An ecumenical prayer service for Holy Thursday will be held March 20 at 12:15 pm, followed by a Roman Catholic Mass at 4 pm. A Good Friday service will be held March 21, from noon to 3 pm, and a Roman Catholic Passion of the Lord and Holy Communion service will take place at 4 pm. A Roman Catholic Easter Vigil Mass will be held March 22 at 7 pm. On March 23, an ecumenical Easter service will be held at 12:15 pm, and a Roman Catholic Easter Mass will be held at 4 pm. Collins Lecture Series
As part of the Collins Lecture Series, MGH Radiation Oncology will host "Changing Models of Bedside to Bench Research" March 11, from 5 to 6 pm in the Ether Dome. Conversations with Caregivers eldercare series
As part of its Conversations with Caregivers eldercare series, the MGH Geriatric Medicine Unit will host "Understanding the New Medicare Pharmacy Benefit (Medicare D): Advice, Direction and Update on the Program" March 11, from 5:15 to 6:30 pm in the Blum Center.
