MGH Vascular Summit
The MGH Vascular Center will host "MGH Vascular Summit: A Comprehensive Update for the Primary Care Provider" Sept. 12 and 13 at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel. Primary care providers, nurse practitioners, nurses and physician assistants will receive an update on the latest approaches to the prevention, diagnosis, screening and management of vascular disease. InfoBytes computer training courses
On Sept. 22 Partners Information Systems Training will offer the following InfoBytes training courses in Microsoft 2003: "Word: Mail Merge," from 10:30 am to noon; "Excel: Pivot Tables," from 1 to 2:30 pm; "PowerPoint: Interactive Presentations," from 3 to 4:30 pm; and "Outlook: Tips and Tricks to Improve Efficiency," from 5 to 6:30 pm. All classes will be held at 165 Cambridge St., second floor. An optional half-hour of training will be available at the end of each class for related exercises and one-on-one consultation. Senior HealthWISE lecture series
The MGH Senior HealthWISE lecture series will host "Pet Therapy: The Healing Power of Dogs" Aug. 14, from 11 am to noon in the Haber Conference Room.
