  • A last legacy: Mongan honored with portrait
    MGH senior leadership and special guests joined James J. Mongan, MD, and his wife, Jean, Sept. 26 in the Trustees Room for the unveiling of an oil painting of Mongan, who served as MGH president from 1996 to 2002 before succeeding Samuel O. Thier, MD, as president and chief executive officer of Partners HealthCare.
