Dr. Ying Fu received MD and PhD degrees from Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China in 2007. Her graduate research was directed at characterizing a novel human Fca/µ receptor and its role in IgA nephropathy. She joined Dr. Cherayil’s lab in January, 2009 and is working on the interactions between iron homeostasis and innate immunity.
