Ceng Chen received a PhD in May 2008 in chemistry from Washington University in Saint Lewis, Missouri, and has done work on building solid phase libraries of bioactive compounds. She is now a Fellow in Dr. Newburg's lab, working on developing instrumental methods of analysis of biologically active glycans by high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, and on isolation of biologically active glycans from natural sources, including human milk and traditional Chinese medicines.
