Ambulatory Care Elective Information
Course Coordinator: Dr. Shannon Scott-Vernaglia—However,
individual clinics are set up by the resident
Goals and Objectives of Rotation:
The purpose is to expose residents to
particular aspects of sub-specialty pediatrics and to provide
extra continuity clinic sessions, when possible. The third year
block is designed to expose you to major subspecialties common to
primary care pediatrics: Dermatology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology,
ENT, and Allergy.
Weekly clinics and
conferences:
Since this rotation is now an elective, the
faculty need to be contacted directly prior to starting the

not expecting you unless you call ahead
