Other Educational Offerings from the MGH Department of Medicine

In addition to residency and fellowship training, the MGH Department of Medicine faculty members and others conduct a variety of lectures and courses for physicians and other health professionals.

Medical Grand Rounds

An historic tradition at MGH, Medical Grand Rounds emphasize clinical medicine, the scientific basis of medical practice and the social and economic aspects of providing medical care. Medical Grand Rounds occur every Thursday (except for holidays and the month of August) in the O’Keeffe Auditorium at MGH at 8 am and are open to the public. Courses Directed by DOM Faculty

Sponsored by the Harvard Medical School Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME), DOM faculty direct courses in a variety of medical subspecialties. For more information about these courses please see the agenda below. All courses take place in Boston/Cambridge unless otherwise indicated.

The MGH Academy

The MGH Academy also offers opportunities for online education and CME for healthcare professionals primarily in psychiatry but in the future looks forward toward integration of more offerings outside of this specialty.
