About. The Chester Pierce Research Society (CPRS) is a bi-monthly speaker series named in honor of MGH's Professor Emeritus in Psychiatry Chester Pierce, the first and most senior African-American physician-scientist at MGH. CPRS is designed for researchers to present their clinical, basic science and health services/policy research to the MGH community.

April presentation, imparted by Robin Weinick, PhD, will provide an overview of racial and ethnic disparities in care, and how quality improvement strategies can help to reduce them.
