• Massachusetts Community Health Profile (MassCHIP) Excellent resource from the state Department or Public Health with data from the community level on health needs, health status indicators, and health programs.
• Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health - Publications and Statistics Links to state surveillance programs, health statistics, research, and programs.
• Massachusetts Department of Public Health: BHSRE(Bureau of Health Statistics, Research and Evaluation) BHSRE monitors the health status of Massachusetts residents through collecting information on births, deaths, newly diagnosed cases of cancer, occupational conditions and illnesses, and health behaviors.
• Massachusetts Health Data Consortium This organization collects data, publishes comparative reports,conducts research. Site includes information about data products and access to the research library.

• American Cancer Society: Statistics for 2004 Latest information with a link to Cancer Data for States.
• Administration on Aging (U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services) Statistical information on older persons, including vital statistics and statistics on health and health care.
• BRFSS (Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System) From the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this site includes data from the world's largest telephone survey as it tracks health risks in the U.S. Questionnaires have English and Spanish versions.
• Bureau of Labor Statistics (U.S. Dept. of Labor) Statistics on occupational injuries and illnesses, work injuries and illnesses, health care expenditures, census of fatal occupational injuries.
• Bureau of Primary Health Care A source of federal health care statistics, including the State Health Workforce Profiles.
