• Dream Anatomy Drawn from the collections of the National Library of Medicine, this site depicts the anatomical imagination from 1500 to the present.
• Health Education Assets Library (HEAL) The HEAL team works closely with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) to ensure that HEAL meets the multimedia needs of medical colleges. Includes audio, video, and images. Free registration required.
• Historical Anatomies on the Web From the National Library of Medicine's History of Medicine Division.
• Images from the History of Medicine (IHM) Contains nearly 60,000 images in the prints and photograph collection of the History of Medicine Division (HMD) of the National Library of Medicine. Images may be ordered online.
• John Martin Rare Book Room at the Hardin Library for the Health Sciences, University of Iowa Seventeenth century anatomical images by Pietro da Cortona.
• Martindale's Virtual Medical Center Extensive, wide-ranging links to images in all aspects of science and medicine. Wealth of information can make this site somewhat difficult to navigate.
• Medical Photographic Library of the Wellcome Library for the History and Understanding of Medicine Contains over 160,000 images. Images may be ordered online and in a variety of formats.
• MedlinePlus Interactive Health Tutorials from the National Library of Medicine.
• "On the Fabric of the Human Body" From Northwestern University; originally published in 1543 by Andreas Vesalius, a Flemish anatomist and physician today known as the father of anatomy.
• ThinkAnatomy Human gross anatomy study sites and sources suggested by users.
• Visible Human National Library of Medicine's complete representations of the normal male and female human bodies.

• Internet Pathology Laboratory for Medical Education Over 1900 images from the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, University of Utah.
• Public Health Image Library (PHIL) From the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this contains single images, image sets and multimedia files of people, places and science.
• UW Radiology Webserver University of Washington's cases of the week, radiology teaching files and links to other learning resources.
