Diversity

MGH employees are a diverse mix of backgrounds, bringing different perspectives and approaches to the workplace. Almost every country of origin and language is represented by our employees. Many efforts and programs support employee networking and professional growth. In addition, we offer educational and development initiatives such as Spanish for Healthcare, Support Services Grants and an internal job readiness program for welfare and low income to work candidates called the Health Care Training and Employment Program. Programs are also in place to support women and minority scientists and physicians. Same-sex partner benefits are offered in our medical plan. Cultural competency is a focus of our patient care training. Our workplace is a rich blend of individuals joining together to provide extraordinary care and service to our patients.
