Endocrine Surgery Program
The Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery provides state-of-the-art treatment for the following:
- Thyroid Diseases
- Parathyroid Diseases
- Adrenal Glands Diseases
We also perform minimally-invasive surgeries such as:
- Laparoscopic adrenalectomy
- Radio-guided parathyroidectomy
Approximately 600 thyroid and parathyroid surgeries are performed annually at Massachusetts General Hospital, making us the largest endocrine surgery center on the east coast of the United States.
