    Faculty Development Seminar: Career Advancement Series

Would you like to know more about the Claflin Distinguished Scholar Awards? These awards are designed to provide bridge funding for female junior faculty to sustain research productivity during the child-rearing years with the intention of advancing women in academic medicine. 4. Responsible Conduct of Research, Peer Review: Guidelines and Practice on Feb 14-
    Faculty Development Seminar: Responsible Conduct of Research Series

In this interactive workshop you will learn about and practice scientific peer review. Discussion topics will include: an overview of the peer review process, journal guidelines and unwritten rules, and ethical considerations for reviewers. Participants will also participate in a mock peer review and get feedback from the faculty presenters. You are required to read a short manuscript (chosen by the presenters) before the session, and participate as a mock reviewer during the session.
