According to the latest report by the American Heart Association, 71 million American adults have one or more types of cardiovascular disease. Cardiovascular disease has been the number one cause of death every year since 1900, with the exclusion of the year 1918. Because of this finding effective new treatments for cardiovascular disease is crucial. The Cardiovascular Research Center (CVRC) is strongly committed to carrying out research that will result in real advancements in human cardiovascular health.
