Marc Tessier-Lavigne of Genentech will provide insight into life at the forefront of drug development and the opportunities for physician scientists in biotech careers and psychiatrist and researcher Pamela Sklar of Massachusetts General Hospital and the Broad Institute will talk about what it is like to be a physician scientist at the cutting edge of genetic research that is sure to break open the therapeutic potential of previously difficult to treat psychiatric diseases. The session will then open to questions from the audience.
