Lab Overview

Dr. Wang is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and Associate Director of Heart Failure and Transplantation at MGH.  He conducts clinical and translational research related to pre-clinical cardiovascular disease, obesity, and metabolism.  His group’s specific areas of focus include: the role of the natriuretic peptides in cardiovascular health, mechanisms of obesity-related cardiac dysfunction, the effects of vitamin D on the heart, and identification of novel cardiometabolic biomarkers.
