Dr. Milan is a cardiac electrophysiologist and developmental biologist. He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford in 1989 in chemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical industry before attending medical school at Harvard. As a student in the Harvard/MIT Health Sciences and Technology program, he performed structure function studies on the immunosuppressant target calcineurin in the laboratory of Dr. Frank McKeon. He performed residency training in internal medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Milan joined holds appointments in the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service and also in the Cardiovascular Research Center. He is Co-Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program at MGH.
