Tim Cashman, BS (tcashman@partners.org)
Tim began in 2007 after completing his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College. He is interested in creating transgenic zebrafish lines to manipulate heart progenitor populations to ultimately reveal pathways critical for cardiac progenitor cell fate specification.
Dekker Deacon, BS (ddeacon@partners.org)
Dekker joined the lab in 2007 after completing his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College. He is interested in using knockdown and overexpression approaches in the zebrafish to test the function of specific microRNAs in cardiac progenitor cell development. Concurrently, he is generating inducible transgenic zebrafish lines that model human heart failure.
