YouthCare Services
YouthCare serves children age five through sixteen who have social-cognitive deficits, such as Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, and Nonverbal Learning Disorders. Utilizing a variety of therapeutic services and approaches, our staff works closely with children and their families to help improve children's social skills and self-esteem.
YouthCare includes:
YouthCare Summer Programs - high-quality summer camp with a warm, nurturing environment. A teen summer program is also available for older students.
Afterschool Program - a structured, small-group setting with social skills groups and recreational activities, with some time for homework, snack, and free time.
Social Skills Groups - Weekly activity groups to teach and practice social skills and social strategies for children aged 5-16.
Training and Consultation Services - In addition to case management or on-going consultation for school-based teams, YouthCare staff conduct training sessions or workshops for teachers, aides, or individual providers.
