Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) helps people and their caregivers communicate and make informed health care decisions, allowing their voices to be heard in assessing the value of health care options (PCORI). The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) was authorized by Congress as part of the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) and is now providing PCORI funding for Patient Centered Outcomes Research across the nation.
