Advisor Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Advisors include:

• attend at least one in-person meeting during each year of the 5-year term. The first meeting is usually held during the Spring (April-June), and the second during the Fall (Oct-Dec). The Fall meeting is held immediately before the CeDAR Scientific Symposium. For missed meetings, it is the responsibility of the absent member to contact Dr Thadhani (or his stand-in) for details.
• give lecture in at least 1 of the Scientific Symposia during the 5-year term.
• promote grant applications by qualified basic or clinical researchers worldwide
• review, score, and approve (by majority vote) grant applications
• evaluate lectures under consideration for posting on website
• suggest important publications and links for posting on website
