Collaborations
Cancer research ranges from studies of basic mechanisms involved in gene regulation to clinical trials of new therapeutic agents. Beyond the traditional disciplines of medical, surgical and radiation oncology and the Center for Cancer Research, we are fortunate to benefit from the breadth of outstanding cancer research efforts by affiliated investigators within many Massachusetts General Hospital departments. Our efforts are further enhanced by our participation in the comprehensive Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, which brings together clinical and translational research throughout Harvard Medical School.
Cancer Research at Massachusetts General Hospital is experiencing unparalleled growth, which will accelerate further with the dedication of new laboratory and clinical facilities over the next few years. We wish to express our gratitude to all of the outstanding investigators who have dedicated their careers to fighting cancer.
