Educational Background: Graduated from Brown University in 1991 with a Bachelors in Human Biology, attended medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine, and received a Masters in Public Health from Tufts University. Completed a residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in 2000. She practiced at the Lahey Clinic for 9 years before joining Bulfinch Medical Group.
Board Certification: Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Clinical Interests: Health education and preventive health, nutrition, fitness, and providing health care with volunteer missions (Project HOPE in Marshall Islands in 2007 and in Guyana in 2008).
Personal Interests: Dr. Zavod was raised in Connecticut. She loves cooking, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her family including her three sons, two dogs, and husband.
