To receive free, confidential counseling referral service over the phone please call (617) 720-2828. When calling, please be sure to leave the following information on your voice message:
- Your first name (last name is optional)
- A phone number you can be best reached at
- The type of health insurance you have
- The city/town you want to see a counselor in
- Whether you have a preference of a male or female counselor
- Your preference in time of day you would like to see a counselor
- Any specific specialty (substance abuse, grief/loss, marital/relationship, anxiety, depression, trauma, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dual diagnosis, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), etc.)
SWTRS will then research the information you have provided and will return your call as soon as possible with a list of names and phone numbers.
