New England INDEX addresses the information needs of people with disabilities. They collect and maintain information on a wide variety of programs, agencies, and individual providers in Massachusetts and New England who provide services to people with disabilities.

Seniors and Caregivers
The SHINE (Serving the Health Information Needs of Elders) program provides free health insurance information, counseling, and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare and their caregivers. Counselors help Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers navigate the complex health insurance system. They can explain Medicare options and how Medicare works; can help compare costs and benefits and help people enroll in Medicare and other health insurance plans; and can help some people with limited income and resources apply for extra help with their Medicare prescription drug costs and apply for Medicare Savings Programs that help pay Medicare premiums. A free, confidential telephone referral service. They provide professional, personalized counseling referrals matched for location, specialty, and insurance or fee requirements. They will help you find a skilled individual, family, or group therapist in Massachusetts.
Women's Health Network
A program of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health that provides free breast and cervical cancer screening, diagnostic services, and health education to low income, uninsured or underinsured women at local health centers, hospitals, and community agencies throughout Massachusetts.
