In the new role, Dr. Minter will continue to work on various projects, including:

  • Improving turnover times
  • Documenting airway management
  • Installing a QI data program to track interoperative problems

In addition, Metavision, Mass General's automated anesthesia recordkeeping system, just launched at CHA. The department is training anesthesiologists on the new system, he said.

Dr. Minter said he's "happy" and "excited" about the new role, and looks forward to hiring new staff within the department.

"I think we've got the right people lined up in the right places," he said.
