  • My clinical interest lies in the treatment of acute, chronic and cancer-related pain.
  • Program development of the first Pediatric Pain Program here at the MGHfc

    • Computer Assessment of Mood and Pain
    • Pediatric procedure-related pain study 
    • Child computer assessment of pain, NIH SBIR award
    • Clinical Trial Anesiva "Zingo" for local anesthetic prior to IV placement

    • An Open-label, Multicenter Study of the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, and Efficacy of Buprenorphine Transdermal System (BTDS) in Children From 7 to 16 Years of Age, Inclusive, Who Require Continuous Opioid Analgesia for Moderate to Severe Pain
    • Optimal Method of Pain Management in Patients with Multiple Rib Fractures, a comparative study of the ON-Q Pain Relief System and epidural catheter
    • Incidence of Urinary Tract Infections in Patients with Epidural Catheters for Acute Pain Management
    • Analysis of Epidural Hematoma and Abcesses and Frequency of Imaging Ordered
