Consultative Services for Chronic Opioid Therapy
We provide consultative services that are most beneficial to patients receiving chronic opioid therapy and their primary care providers. This is among the most common requests for consultation from our center; thus, we cannot assume primary prescribing responsibilities. Our goal is to provide meaningful consultation.
Services we offer include: comprehensive evaluation and consideration of a wide range of treatment modalities; pharmacotherapy (e.g. drug choice, opioid rotation and dosing recommendations) and risk assessment for those receiving chronic opioids.
