Psychosocial treatment of Depressive disorders in Parkinson's Disease
We are looking at non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, such as symptoms of depression and anxiety, and how to best treat these symptoms with a form of talk therapy called cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). If eligible for the study, you will participate in CBT, and you will either start CBT right away, or you may be assigned to start treatment in 12 weeks. Your participation in this study will take approximately 13 weeks or approximately 25 weeks depending on your treatment assignment. All participants will receive CBT treatment at some point in the study.
