Felicia A. Smith, MD
Dr. Smith earned her B.A. summa cum laude from Middlebury College, and her MD at the University of Vermont. She completed
an internship in internal medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael; a Yale affiliated hospital, in New Haven, CT. She is currently a fellow in
Consultation Liaison-Psychiatry and Assistant Residency Training Director with the Adult Psychiatry Program at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Her major research interests include suicide prevention and psychiatric comorbidities in medically ill patients. She has authored
book chapters on the psychiatric manifestations of traumatic brain injury, central nervous system infections, and on "natural remedies" in the treatment
of psychiatric illness. Dr. Smith is currently studying the manifestations of depression and anxiety after myocardial infarction in collaboration with
the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.
