Application Requirements:
We participate in the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) in lieu of paper applications. Through ERAS, we require the basics: Application, Transcript, Dean's letter, 3 letters of reference, Personal Statement, Picture and USMLE 1 Board Scores (minimally), as well as any other ERAS requirements. We make a comprehensive review of our applicants. While no minimum score is required, solid passing scores are preferred. To apply through ERAS, please read the 12 steps for medical students listed on the AAMC/ERAS web site. Then click "More" under "Residency Applicants" and then "Steps in the ERAS process." Also note that your Dean's office plays a large part in your application process.

Deadlines for Applications:
The deadline to apply to our program each year is November 1st, for 16 available positions. Please note, there is no need to apply separately for any PGY1 options offered through MGH/McLean Psychiatry (as listed under Program). This includes our Newton Wellesley, Internal Medicine, and 5 year program/Pediatrics positions.

Additional Information for International Medical Graduates:
We sponsor J1 and H1B visas. Clinical experience in the United States is preferred, as well as solid passing scores on exams. Contact the ECFMG to apply through ERAS at http://www.ecfmg.org/eras.
