Viral Propagation (high or low titer)
Production of HIV molecular clones and pseudotyped viruses. The final product is a vial(s) of the desired virus with titer. Fee per vial of virus.

TCID50 Titering
Assay used to accurately determine the number of replication competent infectious units within a viral sample or stock based on the dilution at which 50% of inoculated cell culture become infected. Fee per sample.

Site-directed Mutagenesis
Generation of point mutant and recombinant HIV clones-fee is per mutation. The final product will be a full-length mutant HIV plasmid.

Viral RNA/DNA Isolation
Isolation of RNA/DNA from blood or plasma. Fee per sample.

Sanger Sequencing
Sanger sequencing with one primer in a sequencing reaction. The customer must supply the template and any custom primers they wish to use, however, Clade B consensus, NL4-3, M13F and M13R primers are available at the Core. Fee per reaction.

Viral RNA Quantification
Determination of viral load of a sample of RNA in copies/ul. Fee per sample.

RNA/DNA Amplification
Amplification of either individual genes or the entire genome to provide template for downstream molecular applications. Fee per amplification.
